It worked for the first few times and then the magnet didn't really do much. Had to use needle nose to remove plugs.

I have never used a magnetic spark plug socket before and now I'm hooked! Well worth the money.

Tool seemed to work well for changing my plugs, I consider myself lucky as not one broke removing them and they were pretty tight.

Does a great job removing spark plugs. Upgrade from the rubber gasket to magnetic capture works great and will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

The swivel was necessary to reach my spark plugs.

being fixed together made the whole job easier. with them fixed the socket doesn't come off the extension down in the hole where you cant get your fingers

fits perfectly for my F150

Soket work okay breaking lose the plugs but the magnet wasn't strong enough to retrieve the plug. Plugs would drop before you could retrieve it making it frustrating!!

Basic Socket w/pivot, Magnet inside socket worthless.Have Magnet on hand to extract plugs.Seafoam in fuel before work and soak plugs 15mins or so too.Crack plug tighten crack again tighten wash repeat.Seemed to take forever to get plugs out 1/16-1/8 turn then tighten etc but go slow and all plugs out on F250 x 8 plugs and no breakage.Patience is Key.

Quality is there, magnet is awesome. Great to have an all in one socket and extension so you don't lose down the plug well. Magnet is much better than the old grommet style. Great purchase!

This tool is amazing it allowed for easy spark plug change on my 06 Ford Expedition Limited. Not one spark plug broke, love it!

Item was delivered on time, it is to use but is too wiggly, spark plugs can be removed, however the magnetic piece only last to remove 8 spark plugs.After that magnet won't work.

A must have for 3.5 spark plugs

This socket is legit. Changed all the spark plugs in 10 minutes or less, powerful magnet, none of the old plugs fell out trying to remove. I definitely recommend this.

This tool is a must for a late model 4.6 / 5.4 spark plug replacement. Do yourself a favor. Super glue the plastic plug retainer inside the day before starting the job.

Tool works perfectly for removal of spark plugs from the Ford V-10 I have in my Motorhome.

Spark plug wrench grabbed, pulled and installed new plugs in a Lincoln 5.4 V8 with brown coil boots, like a pro. The old,old plugs squealed out and all had huge burn gaps of about .070...

After going to multiple auto parts stores and even purchasing a 9/16" spark plug socket from one of them that did not work because the rubber insert was so tight inside of the socket the spark plug would not go up inside the socket far enough for the socket to go all the way down on the plug, I ordered this. It was like magic! Took out all 8 of my plugs without breaking any of them and the magnetic aspect of it held on to the plug and it came right out of the deep plug wells in my '06 F-150. Wish I would have found this earlier. The swivel head was a big help on those couple towards the rear of the engine too. You won't be disappointed with this socket.

Works well for 3 valve tritons. Quality seems good.

This is definitely a time-saving tool if you are changing plugs in a Ford Triton.

Bought this for 5.4l plug removal. Put quite a bit of torque on it to break plugs free and held up better than expected. The thin wall design makes access easy. Very happy with it.

I had purchased two different style deep sockets for my vehicle. Neither one work properly, so finding this tool wasa great find to complete the tune-up work for my vehicle. It did the work as designed.

Aside from the Fords which pretty much require this tool to maintain your sanity when changing plugs, there are many other cars which use the same size socket for the plugs. This swivel socket extension is a gift from the heavens on many modern cars as they get more complex and crowded under the hood. This works on everything from lawn mowers to Lamborghini, and if you are a tech or hobbyist who works on various types of cars- this should be in your tool box. It's better to buy it before you need it. The same company makes a 5/8" version as well which one should also consider at the same time. I'll be getting the 5/8" one tonight.Finish and manufacturing shows no flaws of any kind. It is a thin wall socket, so if you are trying to break loose a seized plug you need to be careful... but the thin wall gets this into places where a larger socket simply won't fit. The raised and textured ring for finger spinning the socket is a nice touch.Everyone should have this in their tool box.

I bought it last year, finally got the chance to use it. It looks good and has a strong magnet. However, when I try to use it on a 2012 toyota corolla, the lip will stuck on the tube, can't get it in there. I have to borrow my coworker's. I won't recommend it, if u want it for 2012 corolla.

Changing plugs on an F150....get this tool, makes life super easy - cannot guarantee you won't break one of the original plugs, but boy it makes the job to get at them so much easier

I know this was designed specifically for the oddball and problematic spark plugs on Ford engines, but it offers pretty much everything you want in a spark plug socket for any rig using a 9/16 spark plug size (some imports and so on).It is also handy in some non-automotive applications, so it’s no one trick pony. For instance, I used it today for some bolts on my outboard motor. The thin wall and swivel were great in a tight spot and prevented damage to the motor’s paint finish! Awesome!Magnetic, deep reach, thin wall and a swivel. Great asset to any tool box!

The tool is everything I expected except for it is the wrong size for the spark plugs on a Ford F150. Other than that the product is well made and is perfect for what it was intended for. I will keep it in my set of tools for when I come across a need for the size.Thank you

So far this seems to be a quality spark plug tool with build in swivel, thin walled and is magnetic. Although this is being listed as a tool for your F150 5.4L Triton motor, this will work for any tight space / hard to get to spark plugs or where you need a thin walled socket.The swivel works well & does not seem to bind at full or maximum angle. I have gotten several Lexivon socket products & have been very happy with all of them. This spark plug tool makes another great addition to my tool box.

This product is very well built and most universal extensions built on a swivel have a square swivel joint but this one is round for a lot smoother pivoting, really well thought out design. I am impressed. Oh and I have worked on vehicles for about 50 + years .

It is a tool that serves its purpose

Picked this up to pull the tough to remove spark plugs on my motorcycle. Before I would frequently skin my knuckles and have a hard time getting them out. This nifty tool is a miracle time saver. Everyone should have one.

A must have tool for doing Ford2004 and newer 5.4 sparkplugs.

What can I say, it worked very well. Just looking at it tells you it's a high quality tool.

Make sure you get the 5/8 size and NOT 9/16 if you’re using Motorcraft SP-479 spark plugs. As for the tool itself, it’s definitely a worthwhile addition to your toolbox. Definitely better than stringing together a bunch of swivel sockets and still having a hard time.

I have used the Gear wrench brand magnetic spark plug socket swivel for a several years and this LEXIVON brand is just as good and maybe even better with its tapered design.The magnet is ideal as it keeps the plug in place when removing and reinstalling the new plug.The swivel worked perfect for the tightest anglesThe finish is great and so far no issues thereI like the ability of seeing the size clearly stamped on the socketOn the end of this socket, it tapers in some which is great for some vehicles, especially some of the cars I have worked on. Every once in a while a pc of the old rubber boot will get stuck down in the gully above the socket and the tapered design can "sometimes" get past it so you can get it on the socket.

It made the job easier, first 9/16th spark plug socket I've ever owned lol.

Perfect tool for the job

Haven't used. It's the wrong size. Needed 5/8 " socket. Looks like it would work good. Google said I needed 9/16. But 5/8 is the common spark plug size for automotive.

Made it easy to remove plugs. Especially since they are known to break off in the head. I liked the magnet inside vs a standard rubber boots to hold the plug in place.
