Is the 8-inch bar included with the shorter two?
Yes. The three-piece set supplies nominal 3, 6 and 8-inch extensions for the same 1/2-inch square connection.
Can I use the 3-inch bar with my 1/2-inch torque wrench?
Confirm the matching 1/2-inch drive and follow your torque wrench maker's guidance for extensions before measured tightening.
Do the bars directly accept 3/8-inch socket drives?
Their output is 1/2 inch square. A smaller-drive socket requires another suitable connection rather than a direct fit to LX-115.
Will the long bar suit a recessed wheel hub?
The nominal 6 and 8-inch lengths offer reach options. Check the hub access path and socket dimensions; length alone does not guarantee wheel compatibility.
Can the set fit a hex quick-change drill holder?
It is a square-input extension set. The 1/2-inch female connection is not a hex shank for a drill bit holder.
Do the three bars have different drive capacities just from their lengths?
Do not infer a capacity difference from the nominal 3, 6 and 8-inch lengths. Confirm the operating limit for the chosen half-inch bar with Lexivon.
What material is listed for the larger-drive bars?
LX-115 uses hardened and heat-treated chrome vanadium steel. The separate LX-116 collar model uses chrome molybdenum for its bar.
What finish protects the extension bars?
LX-115 uses manganese phosphate treatment for corrosion resistance.
Does the kit include a rigid protective case?
The kit includes an organizer tray for the three half-inch bars. A rigid carrying case is not included.
Will sockets fall off a properly retained extension?
The documented retention feature is a spring-loaded detent ball, not a drop-proof guarantee. Check socket seating and condition on the selected bar.
Can I stack the bars for extra reach?
Confirm the suitability of a stacked half-inch extension setup with Lexivon before use. The individual bar lengths do not establish a combined operating-load rating.
How does LX-115 compare with LX-116?
LX-115 has three plain 1/2-inch bars at nominal 3, 6 and 8 inches. LX-116 has one 10-inch bar with a three-position aluminum spinning handle.
Are the bar lengths exact enough for tight clearance?
The bars are nominally 3, 6 and 8 inches long. Ask Lexivon for exact dimensions and tolerances if your reach requirement is precise.

Can a broken tray be treated as an extension-bar fault?
Inspect the steel bars independently of the organizer tray. Contact the seller about incomplete or damaged packaging, and stop using any damaged bar.
What if a bar becomes twisted under load?
Remove the damaged half-inch bar from use and contact Lexivon. Hardened-steel construction does not make a visibly twisted component safe to keep loading.
Can commercial or industrial use receive lifetime coverage?
Commercial use has 12 months coverage and cannot be extended. Industrial use is excluded; lifetime registration does not override those usage terms.
Does the warranty cover normal wear or an improvised modification?
No. Coverage is for material and workmanship defects. Normal wear, misuse, modification and damage from non-original parts are excluded; Lexivon determines the resolution under its policy.
